Monday 4th September
On Monday, staff and governors from Greneway and Roysia held a training day at Greneway. It proved to be a very successful day giving all involved the opportunity to work collaboratively in preparation for the new school year.
Tuesday 5th September
Welcome to Greneway
We would like to welcome everyone back to Greneway for the start of the Autumn Term. We extend a particularly warm welcome to our new pupils and their families. It has been pleasing to see how well they have all settled in and become part of TEAM Greneway.
We would also like to welcome new staff and those taking on new roles: Miss Cole, Mr Norris, Mrs Brogden, Mrs Prokop, Miss Molland and Mrs Pinder. We look forward to working alongside them.
Over the last year at Greneway, we have been promoting CRISP Mindset. Pupils and staff have embraced these principles and we hope to extend this further over the coming year, including our new year 5 pupils. With this in mind, we look forward to a hard working, productive year which we are sure will be full of opportunities, challenges and achievements. As a team (pupils, parents/carers, staff, governors and the wider community), we know that, working together, we can all achieve more.
We look forward to a happy and successful year.

Year 5’s First Day at Greneway
It was lovely to see our new year 5 arriving on Tuesday looking smart and ready to learn (if not a little apprehensive!). They soon settled in: getting to know new routines, meeting new staff and pupils and finding their way around the school.
As you can see from the photographs, they look at home already!

School Photographs - Wednesday 13th September
The school photographer will be in school on Wednesday 13th September. We remind pupils that they will need their sweatshirts with them. Photographs will be taken of pupils individually and in family groups (Please note: we can only accommodate siblings who are at Greneway).
Friday 8th September
Greneway School operates a number of Twitter Accounts which we would encourage you to follow. It is a great way of keeping up to date with what is going on in school. Twitter allows Greneway to showcase many of the opportunities available to our students as well as share important messages on a range of subjects.
Greneway aims to not identify any pupil by name via Twitter, rather give a general overview of the activity.
Greneway Twitter accounts: @GrenewaySchool, @GrenewayPE, @GrenewayARTS, @GrenewayYear5, @ScienceGreneway, @GrenewayITC, @GrenewayEnglish, @GrenewayJourney, @FriendsofGrenew, @Year6Teachers
A selection of unclaimed items found in school this week. Please ask your child to claim them from the school office.
